This was a really good find for my first time in TX! The food was amazing .. sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy 10/10, turkey burger 10/10 even the spicy chicken wontons 10/10. This is the perfect diner vibe. Friendly staff and just good service. Thanks!

First time in Houston and we were recommended this spot by our host. So glad we took them up on it and went. Absolutely fantastic place. The service was warm and welcoming making me feel right at home even though that is 5000 miles away. The menu has lots of interesting choices. The food was brilliant. I had the meatloaf which was melt in your mouth tender. My wife had the chicken parm which she said was excellent. The portions were gigantic as well. The beer was great and reasonably priced. The best meal I have had so far on my road trip.

I got a pretty hefty plate for 20! I left full and think it was worth it. They server breakfast all day, and have 3 wine glasses on Tuesdays. Overall a good experience for those looking for a good sit-down establishment with a decent price tag.

I don’t write reviews often but this place needs one. I pick up food from here often and beyond me loving the food, it’s always fresh and the fact that they’ve never messed up my order, the staff is so pleasant. Every single time I come in, everyone is so warm and welcoming. I’ve been having a difficult day and just the interaction with the woman at the front desk lifted my spirit a bit. It’s like this every time I enter this specific location. They always have a smile on their face. They truly deserve praise for just being such pleasant people. It may not seem like a big deal but it’s so rare these days in restaurant establishments.

The chicken tinga torta was large and delectable! Sweet potato fries, chicken and waffles were really good and flavorful! Would definitely recommend:) came on a sunday around 12pm and was seated immediately very fast and delightful service

Would give it 10 stars if we could - beautifully decorated interior, very friendly and attentive staff and delicious substantial food at a very reasonable price. We didn't catch our server's name but he was great from the moment we came through the door, constantly refilled our drinks at the perfect time and was always present without being overbearing. The food came in huge portions - we had bacon jam sliders (they came as a 3) and the garlic hummus to start and then had a 'small' grilled chicken Caesar salad as a main. The salad came with a huge butterfly chicken breast - I can imagine the regular portion size is absolutely massive. The sliders were delicious and came with a ranch dip to ensure they didn't get dry, and the hummus with dried pitta chips was divine - there was just so much of it! Would go back in a heartbeat.

Just ate at Barnaby’s Cafe and wow, breakfast was unreal! Best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had, and that homemade salsa? Absolutely mind-blowing. Highly recommend!

We came here on a Thursday evening and were greeted in a friendly manner by the staff. We are both vegetarians and saw there were some good options on the menu; we set about ordering some garlic hummus with pita chips to start followed by the falafel burger with fries and the impossible burger with fries (our favourite!). Lastly, we shared the apple pie with ice cream. All the food was really tasty and made promptly. The server was was very friendly and we could hear he was making all the customers feel right at home. We would definitely come back.
